Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this course for?
In designing ICI we were very proactive in ensuring there is value for bud-tenders, health-practitioners, cannabis business executives, entrepreneurs, investors, legal advisers, policy-analysts, human resource consultants, and community groups & associations.
Why is it important?
Cannabis has many different applications in today’s marketplace and economy. This course examines the evolution of legislation that has helped arrive at a legalized marketplace. The Canadian cannabis industry is rooted in promoting public health, but is also now a burgeoning multi-billion dollar marketplace for recreational cannabis. These projections do not include the existing medical marijuana and hemp industries in Canada, which also provide tremendous business opportunities and employment for farmers, doctors, and retailers. Our course provides information to equip you with greater clarity on how to participate in the industry by examining legislation, regulations, grants, contributions, and subsidies.
